HighlandsOpen Sun-O Week 2009 Sun-o crosses the borders of Iberic Peninsula! It took us a while to take this step, but we decided to give it a try in Italy, another Latino country. Our training package will be linked to Highlands Open, a competition with a 9 year tradition, on the Altipiano de Asiago, terrains with even longer Orienteering tradition. In winter, Asiago is known for its cross-country skiing, while summers are green, smooth and healthy for it's cows to produce the best milk and cheese. Even though Asiago is at 1200ms altitude, expected May temperatures are 13 to 24°C, perfect for Orienteering.
